The task was created successfully, and I can see it in Task Shceduler. But no backups are actually made. Task Scheduler gives 0x103 as the task result code.

Make sure that your computer have sufficient rights to write into the share folder. How you checked the event logs in Windows to find a clue of what’s going on?

Thanks,
Mauro

I can create and schedule the image backup but it doesn’t copy anything. Here’s my script :

SCHTASKS /Create /SC WEEKLY /D TUE /TN ImageRestore /RL HIGHEST /ST 12:56 /TR “wbAdmin Start Backup -backupTarget:\backupdownloadrestore -user:admin -password:*** : -include:C: -allCritical”

Question 2: Use the Windows DVD to boot and use the recovery tool.

Thanks,
Mauro

When using the PowerShell script to run weekly backups in Windows 8.1 Pro, how do you make sure to include the System Reserved partition in the script? Also, if you machine is not able to boot how do you restore the image?

There is a typo somewhere, make sure your running CMD as administrator and verify you are typing the commands correctly.

Thanks,
Mauro
