I am getting very upset with Microsoft. If they want to buy me a new computer, pay for all new software and then put windows10 on it, I’ll gladly accept that. Otherwise, this is my computer and I don’t want Windows 10. No should mean NO when it comes to updating windows, but KB3112343 just went and downloaded and installed without me doing it. So much for “never check for updates”

It was really directed at MS. Seems they almost immediately changed it from “optional” to “important”. Maybe it was innocuous, but their behavior lately has left me quite untrusting of their intent. I’m running Win 7. KB3112343 was in the list of “Important” updates and was pre-selected to install. It was NOT “optional” with manual selection required! I have Windows Update settings to notify but not install. That way I can review them. Otherwise this would have automatically been installed. Microsoft is getting WAY too aggressive pushing Win 10, which I have no plans to install in the near future.
