Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 20180 for PCs enrolled in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This is the preview number 30 available for testers, and it\u2019s a minor update with some fixes and changes.<\/p>\n

Windows 10 build 20180<\/strong>, according to the company, enables more features announced with build 20161<\/a>\u00a0to more users, including the new Start menu design<\/a>. However, the capability to see thumbnail previews of tabs from pinned sites using Microsoft Edge is still available to only a subset of testers.<\/p>\n

This flight also is changing the tablet posture logic for convertible devices to now only apply when using a single screen. The new folder icon in the “All apps” list from the Start menu is now smaller to align with the design of the other icons. And the search box in the “Default Apps” settings pages has been improved for performance.<\/p>\n

Alongside the new changes, build 20180 addresses some issues with the Magnifier, Task Manager not showing the publisher name for UWP apps, and problems using the Alt + Tab<\/strong> keyboard shortcut to switch browser tabs.<\/p>\n

The preview is available immediately through the Dev Channel. This build will download and install automatically on your computer, but you can always force the update from Settings\u00a0<\/strong>>\u00a0Update & security<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Windows Update<\/strong>, and click the Check for updates<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n
