Windows 11 also supports upgrading from Windows 7, and in this hands-on video<\/a><\/strong>, we will show you the entire process.<\/p>\n

An early version of Windows 11 recently leaked onto the web, and along with some of the features and changes, the internal build also gives us a glimpse of how the process has been updated to upgrade a Windows 7 machine to Windows 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Similar to previous versions, you can also use the Media Creation Tool to perform an in-place upgrade of Windows 7 to Windows 11<\/em>. The process is similar to upgrading a Windows 10 device<\/a>, but you only get the option to keep your files. This upgrade path does not support preserving your files or applications. This means that you will need to configure your preferences after the upgrade, and you will to install your applications manually.<\/p>\n

Also, after the upgrade, you will be presented with a screen to configure your privacy settings before you are directed to the new desktop.<\/p>\n

This hands-on video is not meant to be an instructional guide to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 11 since the OS still not ready. At the time of this writing, it\u2019s not recommended to upgrade to Windows 11.<\/p>\n
