Someone created an amazing concept video that shows some design improvements and features that could be part of Windows 12<\/a>. Although Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the next version of the operating system, it’s known that the company is working on it, and a new concept video demonstrates how the version might look like.<\/p>\n

On YouTube, Addy Visuals published a video<\/a> of a Windows 12 concept that includes a dynamic Taskbar that floats on the desktop with some great new features, including an updated context menu with various customization options with the ability to change the style of the bar and use small icons and the ability to group apps in Taskbar.<\/p>\n

The video also images Windows 12 with a Start menu that brings back Widgets and a new layout to launch applications and a new Widgets dashboard that allows you to display widgets on the desktop.<\/p>\n

As part of the changes to organize apps, the concept also shows the ability to group app icons on the desktop.<\/p>\n

In addition, the video shows off a “smart dock” feature that drops from the top of the screen with common tools to copy, paste, delete, and share and an option to hold content (folders and files) similar to the clipboard.<\/p>\n

Perhaps one of the designs in the video is the new File Explorer<\/a> concept which includes amazing visuals that Microsoft should seriously consider, including a mica material with blur and translucent effects for the navigation and canvas, a lot of rounded corners, and support tags in the navigation, and a temporary holder for content.<\/p>\n

Finally, the video shows off the concept in light and dark mode<\/a>. Although these features and changes won’t be part of Windows 12 when it releases (presumably) in 2024, the design by Abby Visuals shows off some interesting changes of what the next version could bring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
