In September 2023, some Surface devices are getting updates to address vulnerabilities and improve system stability, including the Surface Pro X<\/a>, Surface Laptop 5, and Surface Pro 7.<\/p>\n

The update should download and install automatically, but if you have not received it, you get it from Settings<\/strong> > Update & Security<\/strong> > Windows Update<\/strong> and try to force the download manually. You can use these instructions to learn different ways you want to update your Windows 11 computer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Surface Update history<\/h2>\n

These are the improvements, fixes, and new features available for Surface devices<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Surface Pro X<\/h3>\n

The update for Surface X was originally released on September 14 and brings these improvements and fixes:<\/p>\n
