about this incident.<\/p>\n<h3>Fix for devices with BitLocker encryption<\/h3>\n<p>If you have a device with BitLocker encryption, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/sysadmin\/comments\/1e708o0\/comment\/ldxbivz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit user HammerSlo suggests<\/a> a solution that seems to be working, which includes cycling through the blue screen until you get the recovery screen.\u00a0In the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), navigate to <strong>Troubleshoot<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Advanced Options<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Startup Settings<\/strong>, and click the <strong>&#8220;Restart&#8221;<\/strong> button. Then, skip the first Bitlocker recovery key prompt by pressing the <strong>&#8220;Esc&#8221;<\/strong> key, and then skip the second Bitlocker recovery key prompt by selecting <strong>&#8220;Skip This Drive&#8221;<\/strong> in the bottom right.<\/p>\n<p>After that, navigate to <strong>Troubleshoot<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Advanced Options<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Command Prompt<\/strong>, and run the <code>bcdedit \/set {default} safeboot minimal<\/code> command and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On WinRE&#8217;s main menu, click the <strong>&#8220;Continue&#8221;<\/strong> option. This action may cycle two or three times.
