However, if you don&#8217;t use the cloud storage service, you can remove the entry from the File Manager by modifying the Registry or uninstalling the OneDrive app from your computer.<\/p>\n<p>In this <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/tag\/how-to\">guide<\/a>, I will outline the steps to remove the OneDrive entry from File Explorer. You can also use these instructions to <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/remove-gallery-file-explorer-windows-11\/\">remove the &#8220;Gallery&#8221; page<\/a>, and these steps to <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/remove-home-file-explorer-windows-11\/\">hide the <strong>&#8220;Home&#8221;<\/strong> page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"toc\">\n<li><a href=\"#remove_onedrive_explorer_regedit\">Remove OneDrive from File Explorer modifying Registry<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#remove_onedrive_explorer_uninstall\">Remove OneDrive from File Explorer uninstalling app<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"tip-box\"><span><strong>Warning:<\/strong> It&#8217;s crucial to note that modifying the Registry can cause serious problems if not used properly. However, you will still have access to the folder and your files from the OneDrive folder inside your profile folder located at <code>%USERPROFILE%<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to revert the changes, you can use the same instructions, but on <strong>step 4<\/strong>, right-click the <strong>{e018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}<\/strong> key, choose the <strong>&#8220;Modify&#8221;<\/strong> option, and set its value from <strong>0<\/strong> to <strong>1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"remove_onedrive_explorer_uninstall\">Remove OneDrive from File Explorer uninstalling app<\/h2>\n<p>To uninstall the OneDrive app to remove the entry from File Explorer, use these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Open <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click on <strong>Apps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click the <strong>Installed apps<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click the three-dot button next to the &#8220;Microsoft OneDrive&#8221;
