Microsoft is rolling out Windows 11 build 26200.5570 in the Dev Channel and build 26120.3941 in the Beta Channel with the new features and changes, as they are both part of the version 24H2 development. In addition, the company is making available build 22635.5305 in the Beta Channel with similar improvements, but this release is for version 23H2.<\/p>\n

According to the official changes<\/a>, Windows 11 build 26200.5570 is rolled out as update KB5055632, and build 26120.3941<\/a> is also available as KB5055634. Both updates include a new option to filter out improper words for the Voice Typing feature.<\/p>\n

You can now set the pen button to open Click to Do, and the AI feature will now appear as an app option from the pen menu in the Taskbar.<\/p>\n

In addition, Microsoft is testing improvements for Windows Search and the Accessibility menu in the Taskbar. This release also includes several fixes.<\/p>\n

These are the new features and fixes rolling out for Windows 11 in the\u00a0 Beta and Dev Channels.<\/p>\n

Voice Typing with new filter<\/h3>\n

Starting with this release, the context menu for Voice Typing will include a toggle switch to filter improper words. When the feature is turned on, it marks those words with asterisks, and when it’s off, words are spelled out.<\/p>\n

Pen button with Click to Do<\/h3>\n

If you have a device with a touch-enabled screen with support for a digital pen, you can now set the action button to open “Click to Do” from Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Pen & Windows Ink.<\/p>\n

Also, the pen menu that appears in the Taskbar will now show the “Click to Do” feature as an option.<\/p>\n

Windows Search changes<\/h3>\n

As part of the Semantic Indexing feature, if you use a work or school account, Windows Search from the Taskbar will only show matches for keywords, not images.<\/p>\n

Taskbar Accessibility menu update<\/h3>\n

The Accessibility flyout menu has been updated to show features by categories, such as vision, hearing, motor, and mobility, to make the menu easier to use.<\/p>\n

New keyboard settings<\/h3>\n

Microsoft continues its journey of consolidating system settings within the modern Settings app by bringing keyboard character repeat delay and repeat rate from the Control Panel to Settings<\/strong> > Accessibility<\/strong> > Keyboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While not enabled by default, it has been discovered<\/a> that a future release will allow you to adjust how quickly characters repeat when a key is held down directly in the “Accessibility” settings. This move aligns with Microsoft’s ongoing effort to streamline the user experience and centralize system configurations.<\/p>\n
