However, if it&#8217;s missing, you can create a new Recovery Partition to regain access to the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), and in this guide,\u00a0I&#8217;ll show you how to complete this configuration.<\/p>\n<p>A new, <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/clean-install-windows-11\/\">clean installation of Windows 11<\/a> contains multiple partitions. The EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) partition is a crucial component of the system&#8217;s boot process. The &#8220;C:&#8221; drive contains the operating system, apps, settings, and files, and the Recovery Partition\u00a0includes the tools to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.<\/p>\n<p>If<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"> the Recovery Partition is missing or you accidentally deleted it, you can recreate it to regain access to the Windows Recovery Environment when going to <strong>Settings<\/strong>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<strong>System<\/strong>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<strong>Recovery<\/strong>, and clicking<\/span>\u00a0the <strong>&#8220;Restart now&#8221;<\/strong> button for <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/access-advanced-startup-options-windows-11\/\">the <strong>&#8220;Advanced startup&#8221;<\/strong> feature<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can complete this configuration using the existing &#8220;WinRE.wim&#8221; file from the &#8220;Recovery&#8221; folder. <strong>Enter<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<pre>reagentc \/info<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After you complete the steps, the missing Recovery Partition will be created next to the Windows 11 setup.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"fix_missing_recovery_partition_new_winre\">Fix missing Recovery Partition on Windows 11 using new WinRE.wim<\/h2>\n<p>If the <strong>&#8220;winre.wim&#8221;<\/strong> file is missing from the system&#8217;s <strong>&#8220;Recovery&#8221;<\/strong> folder, you can recreate the Recovery Partition using the<strong> &#8220;winre.wim&#8221;<\/strong> file available inside the <strong>&#8220;install.wim&#8221;<\/strong> file from the Windows 11 ISO file.<\/p>\n<p>To create a new Recovery Partition by extracting the winre.wim from the install.wim file, follow these
