In this case, I&#8217;ll be using the <strong>&#8220;Generate autounattend.xml files for Windows 10\/11&#8221;<\/strong> tool from the &#8220;Schneegans&#8221; website, which is also available from <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/cschneegans\/unattend-generator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GitHub<\/a>. This tool includes all the necessary settings to create an <strong>&#8220;unattend.xml&#8221;<\/strong> or <strong>&#8220;autounattend.xml&#8221;<\/strong> file to clean install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware using a local account and reduce the amount of bloatware.<\/p>\n<p>In this <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/tag\/how-to\">guide<\/a>, I&#8217;ll outline the steps to perform the cleanest installation of Windows 11.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tip-box\"><span><strong>Important:<\/strong> This process will erase everything on the hard drive. As a result, you should create a <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/backup-windows-11-external-usb-drive\/\">full backup of your computer<\/a> before processing. section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Check the <strong>&#8220;Always show file extensions&#8221;<\/strong> option to show extensions like &#8220;.exe,&#8221; &#8220;.txt,&#8221; &#8220;.docx,&#8221; etc..<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Check the <strong>&#8220;Use classic context (right-click) menu in Windows 11&#8221;<\/strong> option to bring back the legacy context menu to File Explorer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Check the <strong>&#8220;Open File Explorer to This PC instead of Quick access&#8221;<\/strong> option to change the default startup page.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Check the <strong>&#8220;Show End task command in the taskbar&#8221;<\/strong> option to enable the option to terminate unresponsive apps from the Taskbar.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Select the <strong>&#8220;Hide&#8221; section unless you want to use a different configuration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select the <strong>&#8220;Show default desktop icons&#8221;<\/strong> option under the &#8220;Desktop icons&#8221; section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Skip the <strong>&#8220;Virtual machine support&#8221;<\/strong> settings unless you install the operating system as a virtual machine in VirtualBox or <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/download-install-vmware-workstation-pro-free-windows\/\">VMware Workstation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>(Optional) Choose the <strong>&#8220;Configure Wi-Fi using these settings&#8221;<\/strong> option and confirm the wireless network settings under the &#8220;WLAN\u2009\/\u2009Wi-Fi setup&#8221; settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select the <strong>&#8220;Do not configure WDAC policy&#8221;<\/strong> option under the &#8220;Windows Defender Application Control&#8221; section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Skip the <strong>&#8220;XML markup for more components&#8221;<\/strong> settings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Skip the <strong>&#8220;Download settings&#8221;<\/strong> configuration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click the <strong>&#8220;Download.xml file&#8221;<\/strong> button and save the file on your computer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After you complete the steps, you will have to integrate the unattended answer file into the USB bootable media.<\/p>\n<h3>Create bootable USB with answer file<\/h3>\n<p>To create a bootable Windows 11 USB with the Media Creation Tool, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/software-download\/windows11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Open the <strong>Microsoft<\/strong> support website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Click the <strong>Download Now<\/strong> button under the &#8220;Create Windows 11 installation media&#8221;
