will complete the upgrade process, in this case, from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since this is an in-place upgrade, you won&#8217;t have to complete the Out-of-box Experience (OOBE), including adding a Microsoft Account. If you had a local account, the device will continue to use that account type.<\/p>\n<p>The steps above are intended to upgrade a device to the latest operating system version.
