In this <a href=\"https:\/\/pureinfotech.com\/tag\/how-to\/\">guide<\/a>, we&#8217;ll take a closer look at the new features and changes Microsoft is introducing for the fifth feature update of Windows 10 releasing in spring 2018 &#8212; which carries the &#8220;Windows 10 April 2018 Update&#8221;\u00a0marketing name, instead of &#8220;Spring Creators Update,&#8221; which was rumored previously.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Windows 10 version 1803 release date:<\/strong>\u00a0Microsoft has officially confirmed that the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) will release on April 30, 2018, if you want to update using the Media Creation Tool and Update Assistant, then on May 8, the update will appear in Windows Update. (Usually, feature updates become available starting 2PM Eastern Time.) Initially, Microsoft will begin rolling out the update with its new features to select devices that are known to work with the new version, and then the rollout will expand to other devices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Getting the Windows 10 version 1803:<\/strong>\u00a0If your device is compatible, the new version will automatically download through Windows Update. In Addition, the &#8220;Clear all&#8221; text has been replaced for &#8220;Clear all notifications&#8221; to make clearer the action of the button.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_93631\"  class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-93631\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pureinfotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/action-center-links-windows10.jpg?resize=827%2C355&#038;quality=78&#038;strip=all&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Action Center links\" width=\"827\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pureinfotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/action-center-links-windows10.jpg?w=926&amp;quality=78&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 926w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pureinfotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/action-center-links-windows10.jpg?resize=300%2C129&amp;quality=78&amp;strip=all&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 827px) 100vw, 827px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Action Center links<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Action Center now supports a two-finger touch gesture to dismiss all notifications.<\/p>\n<p>If a notification doesn\u2019t support being dismissed, the toast will now show an <strong>X<\/strong> instead of an <strong>arrow<\/strong>, and when writing a response in a notification and you dismiss it by accident, Action center will now save the draft automatically.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Action Center uses &#8220;am&#8221;\/&#8221;pm&#8221; when indicating timestamp with the 12-hour\u00a0clock format, rather than &#8220;a&#8221;\/&#8221;p&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>Cortana<\/h3>\n<p>On version 1803, the Cortana&#8217;s Notebook is getting a face lift that makes the experience easier to use and more responsive with tabs and card-based items.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the new experience, the <strong>Organizer<\/strong> tab is where you&#8217;ll now find lists and reminders, and the <strong>Manage Skills<\/strong> tab is where you can now change many of the Cortana settings.<\/p>\n<p>Click the edit button on the right will open the new\u00a0profile page where you to add and edit favorite places.
